{Tutorial Thursday} Felt Flower Pillow Tutorial
What you’ll need:
1 yard fabric
Felt {as many colors as you’d like}
Matching Thread
Black Embroidery Floss
16×16 pillow form or Stuffing
Sewing Machine
Pins
Scissors
Ruler or quilting square
How to:
Cut 1 – 17×17″ square {makes 2 because fabric is folded in half}
Freehand your circles, cutting out of the felt. Do 3 different sizes, large median and small. Use as many colors as you’d like.
Layer the circles on top of each other {small to large} and stitch with an X pattern to the pillow using the black embroidery floss.
Turn the pillow inside out and pin together, sew the 3 raw edges leaving 1/4th of a side open to turn right side out.
Turn right side out and then stuff. Push it down as far as it will go. This will allow extra room at the top while you machine stitch it closed.
Pin the open edge closed, folding the seam into the pillow. Line it up straight, and then sew the last bit of it closed. You’ll want to get as close to the edge as possible.
Clip the threads as needed, and you now have a fun pillow to keep or give away!
{PS. see that really cute yellow ruffle pillow? That's next week's tutorial! YA!}

{Friday Favorites}
Now that I have my KOOL new toy {the silhouette} we all know what I’ll be up to this long weekend. HA! So today’s Friday favorites are all fun projects you can do with the silhouette.
What a great piece of art!
I know Little Miss would just LOVE this!
I love this! I don’t have hardwood floors in my place, but I think I’ll buy a hall rug and place the hopscotch on it. What a cute idea!
What a cute idea right! I think I’ll turn the white vinyl part into a chalkboard, what do you think?
OOOHHHH…I just {heart} this! For sure gonna have to put one of these in Little Miss’s room!
I hope you all have a fun and safe weekend! And I just want to say a BIG thank you to the men and woman who are fighting for our freedom!
THANK YOU!!!
