{FRIDAY FAVORITES} 3 Tiered Tray

I found this cute idea over at Bacon Time With The Hungry Hypo, and had to do it! I loved that Mindie made hers a 3 tiered tray instead of a 2 tiered tray like whats all over right now. So I made mine a 3 tier as well. Making this is crazy easy! You can stack this several different ways, since you still have 3 separate pieces, for versatility.

I bought my plates and bowl at Target. The candle holders I picked up at the dollar store.

Like Mindie said this project literally took 30 seconds. Only hot glue the small plate and the bowl to the tops of the candle holders. This way you can separate the pieces if you like.

{TADA THURSDAY} Alice in Wonderland 3rd Birthday

I thought I'd skip the tutorial today, since I gave one on Monday. Instead I thought I'd show you what I have put together for my little miss’ 3rd birthday party. I, like almost every other mom this past year, jumped on the Alice in Wonderland band wagon. What a fun theme! I had SO much fun putting it together. I made everything from the invites to the topsy turvy cake. I started planning about 2 months out, since I wanted to make the decor, and to get a few trail cakes under my belt...HA! I LOVE doing this kind of stuff; I've already started thinking about the theme for her 4th birthday. I'm thinking mermaids since my little miss is CRAZY about them right now. Anyway, here are a few pictures to share...

{TASTE TUESDAY} Healthy English Muffin Pizza

Healthy English Muffin Pizza
Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 5 minutes | Total Time: 10 minutes

What you need:
1 Whole Grain English Muffin
A handful (about 1/3 cup) of shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 sliced tomato or 2 Tablespoons of tomato/pizza sauce
Pepperoni or other toppings (optional)
Use several vegetable (mushrooms, peppers, onions) toppings

How to:
After slicing the English muffin, next place the tomatoes or sauce and then the mozzarella cheese on each half of the English muffin.

Top your 'pizza' with a few pepperoni slices or other favorite pizza toppings.

Place your completed 'pizza' on an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet in an oven preheated to 350 F or in a toaster oven.

Bake for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how crispy your child likes his pizza, or until the cheese is a golden brown color.

{GETTIN' KRAFTY ON MONDAY} Ribbon Wreath

I hope everyone had a great Easter! What a busy day it was for us, filled with so much warmth and love…ah, love family!

Ok, ok moving on...now for the good stuff…My good friend Jenn, gave me the idea for this. Of course, any time I see something made with ribbon, I jump all over it and I am so very pleased with the result.

What you need:
16-inch Styrofoam wreath
45 yards of ribbon {I used 9 different ribbons and 2 different thickness}
500 straight pins
Scissors

How to:
Cut the ribbon into 4 ½-inch long pieces. A wreath this size will average about 360 pieces, depending on the fullness that you want to achieve.

Form a loopy circle with each piece of ribbon. Your ends should overlap. Place a straight pin through the ribbon, from the inside out, to hold ends together. Continue doing this with all of your ribbon pieces.

Attach your ribbons to the wreath by pushing the pins into the Styrofoam. Push them in all the way. Make sure to place your loops close together so that no Styrofoam shows through. Continue until your wreath is full.

Embellish your wreath, if you so choose. Add a large bow, leftover buttons, beads or anything else that you think would look good. Attach another ribbon loop, using the pin and some strong glue, to the back of your wreath. Use this loop to hang it.

{FRIDAY FAVORITES} Show and Tell

Today I thought I’d do a bit of show and tell! So you can see what fun little projects I’ve been up to.
Let’s get started…

{HAIR PIECES}

I've been busy making these as you can tell. Everytime I make one for a client I end up making another for little miss. I think shes is SO over them...LOL! But mamma still LOVES them.

 {CHORE CHART}

Little Miss is enjoying her chore chart...crazy I know! She LOVES being able to pick out a sticker placing it on the chore shes just done, and seeing what she can do next! Now if it could just stay this way till shes 18..HA!

{EATER EGGS}

These are cute, but man did they take a lot of time! I was hoping to make about 7 of them to fill a vase but stopped at 2. Oh well, they are still cute right?!

{TEACHER APPRECIATION GIFT}

{a few of the pages from the scrapbook}

I added a cute poem, along with pictures, and some art/school work the girls did from the past year. Miss B LOVED the gift!
