I thought I'd skip the tutorial today, since I gave one on Monday. Instead I thought I'd show you what I have put together for my little miss’ 3rd birthday party. I, like almost every other mom this past year, jumped on the Alice in Wonderland band wagon. What a fun theme! I had SO much fun putting it together. I made everything from the invites to the topsy turvy cake. I started planning about 2 months out, since I wanted to make the decor, and to get a few trail cakes under my belt...HA! I LOVE doing this kind of stuff; I've already started thinking about the theme for her 4th birthday. I'm thinking mermaids since my little miss is CRAZY about them right now. Anyway, here are a few pictures to share...
Invite
Thank You Cards
Envelope Label
Mushroom sweets
Tea Cup Cupcakes
Topsy Turvy Cake with Marshmallow Fondant
Card Solider
Queen of Hearts courtyard
I made the trees out of cardboard, painted them and put red and white roses with the Card Soldiers painting them. On the other side I have signs that say this way, that way, up, down, go back and the Cheshire Cat.
The spread with table tents
Goodie bags and singing flowers. The flowers are made from tissue paper, faces are coffee filters, googly eyes and pipe cleaner.
We had face painting
We had all the kiddos make their own Mad Hatter Hats
Spread again
Game was pin the grin on the Cheshire Cat
The party!
Make a wish little miss!!
